OpenLinkInApp turns a URL you already have into a link that opens the matching mobile app. By using it you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service is provided as-is

The service is free and offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Deep linking depends on the destination app, the operating system and the browser the link is opened in — none of which are under our control. Links may stop working when an app changes its URL handling, and the service may be unavailable, changed or discontinued at any time without notice.

Destination content is not ours

A generated link points to a destination chosen by whoever created it. We do not host, review, endorse or control that content, and we are not responsible for it. If a link worries you, check the destination hostname shown on the open page before tapping.

Prohibited uses

You may not use this service to create links to or in furtherance of:

  • Phishing, impersonation, or anything designed to deceive people about where a link goes.
  • Malware, spyware, or any file or page intended to compromise a device.
  • Content that is illegal in the viewer’s jurisdiction, or child sexual abuse material.
  • Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or automated abuse of the shortening endpoint.
  • Circumventing the rate limits or the URL validation built into the service.

Requests are rate-limited and submitted URLs are validated automatically. We may disable any short link, block any request, or withdraw access entirely, at our sole discretion and without notice — normally in response to an abuse report, but no reason is required.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any destination reached through it.
