OpenLinkInApp is a free deep link generator. It requires no account, no signup and no personal profile. This page describes exactly what the service stores and what third parties can see.

What this site stores

When you shorten a link, one database row is created containing:

  • The destination URL you submitted.
  • A SHA-256 hash of your IP address, used only to rate-limit abuse. The raw IP address is never written to the database and cannot be recovered from the hash.
  • A count of how many times the short link has been opened.
  • The time the link was created.

No name, email address, account or advertising identifier is collected by this site. Stateless links of the form /o/<url> are not stored at all — the destination is carried in the link itself.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Vercel and the link database is Supabase. Both keep standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operations. Neither is used to build a profile of you.

Advertising

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Cookies set by this site

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. Any cookie in your browser from a visit here was set by an advertising vendor as described above.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Removal requests

To have a short link disabled or its row deleted, email bugninza7@gmail.com with the short link. Requests are actioned manually, normally within a few days. The same address handles abuse reports — see the contact page.

Changes

Any change to this policy is published on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of www.openlinkinapp.com after a change means you accept it.
